Gen. American Accent Small Group Class

Service Description

Six week long; 6 - 90 minute ,small group sessions (minimum 4, maximum 8 to a class) focused on learning the fundamentals of one accent. This option is for you: If you prefer a group dynamic and you want an introduction to, or review of, the fundamentals of the General American accent. Included: -Fundamentals of placement, intonation, sound changes. - Relevant, light International Phonetic Alphabet study. (Don't let this part scare you. The IPA is an optional tool not a necessity). -Monologue / scene work. Note: This is not an accent reduction / modification course, though it could be the beginning of that process.
