Service Description

12 one-on-one, 1hr. and 15 min. sessions over three consecutive months. This option is for you if: You're an Australian and British actor who live in the US or has ambition to work in the US market and your goal is mastery of the General American accent! If you want to conquer the placement, intonation, rhythm, sound changes of the accent, important vernacular, you're willing to play hard and you want on-on-one coaching to do it! (Note: Mastering an accent depends on an individual student's commitment.Results may vary. While mastery is not a guarantee, if followed with discipline and 'hard play' this program can help you achieve it.) Included: -12 - 1hr. and 15 minute one-to-one sessions with Matthew. (The equivalent of 15 - 1 hr. sessions). - Some International Phonetic Alphabet study (don't let this part scare you. The IPA is an optional tool not a necessity). - Weekly growth work assignments. -1 Text, voicemail or email outreach to Matthew per week between sessions to ask for adjustments and clarifications and notes on growth work or audition material (subject to office hours). - Life membership in private 'Learn an Accent...' Facebook group for bi-monthly challenges, interviews / Q&As, 'hot seats' with one student a month, optional posting of homework for group and coach feedback, and loads of helpful content. -A 'What's Next Blueprint'. What accents you need in your arsenal that are tailor fit to your brand.Included: Note- this is not an 'accent reduction / modification' program, but can be tailored for that.
