'Acting with Accents' Course

A five week course combining dialect work, comprehensive character analysis, and scene study... (Note: **This course requires a conversation with Matthew prior to registration. Please refer to the free consultation tab on the main dialect coaching page. All class times shown are in Pacific time.**) "Who is this character? Why do they sound the way they sound? And, how do I embody them and act with their accent?"  ~You'll learn the fundamentals of the particular accent, and you'll also... ~ Make strong, specific choices based on our exploration of who this character is on a historical, cultural, familial, personal, and physical level, as well as the who? what? when? why? how? of the scene. ~And, we'll tackle the question of how to play the damn scene... without losing the accent!  All classes will be on Zoom, and you'll act with a reader- self-tape style.
